CVC Capital Partners agree to acquire Autobar Group

We are pleased to advise that CVC Capital Partners have entered into an agreement with Charterhouse to become the majority shareholder in The Autobar Group. Charterhouse will retain a minority stake.

CVC are one of the world's largest private equity / investment managers in the world with over 400,000 people working in businesses under their control.

Autobar believe the transaction is an exciting development and in the interests of the Group and its employees. We are convinced that CVC is a strong partner that will help to take the Autobar Group to the next level in terms of growth and operational improvement

Autobar gains strength in Denmark

Autobar are pleased to announce that their business in Denmark is expanding through the acquisition of the trade and assets of Barista Coffee House.

Barista Coffee House will merge with Café Bar Denmark and will strengthen Autobar's position in the Hotel and Restaurant markets in Denmark.

Autobar are pleased that Alan Nielson from Barista Coffee House will join the Autobar Group and help us further develop our business in Denmark

Autobar adds to its Madrid operation

Autobar have acquired 100% of the share capital of Nordis Social Consulting SL. Founded in 2002 at Getafe, Madrid Nordis provides vending operating to prestigious clients in the region. This acquisition strengthens Autobar Spain's operations in Madrid

Nordis is a registered "Special Employment Centre".

Autobar gains presence in Clermont-Ferrand

Autobar have acquired the Clermont-Ferrand based ADA Sarl. ADA is a well run family owned opperating vending business that has a good reputation in its region. The owner has stayed with the business and joined Autobar.

This acquisition continues to strengthen Autobar's geographical coverage in France.

Hoinxa Vending joins Autobar Group

Autobar Spain have acquired the vending business of Hoinxa Group, a fully operated vending business based in South Valencia.

Hoinxa was established more than 30 years ago and has developed an excellent reputation in the Valencia region. Members of the family who set up Hoinxa and who have contributed to its success for many years will continue to work with Autobar going forward.

This acquisition is the fourth in Spain this year and along with the others strengthens Autobar's market leading position in Spain.

Autobar expands its operations in Spain

Autobar Spain has acquired GMC Vending based in Zaragoza and the vending business of Delma based in Bilbao.

These additions significantly strengthen Autobar operations in northern Spain, building on it's market leading position.

Autobar expands its French business

Autobar in France continues to grow with the completion of the acquisition of ODA SAS a major vending operator in the Breton area of France on 16th September 2008.

The acquisition of ODA complements Autobar's existing operations in the region

Autobar acquires JOBmeal Stockholm AB in Sweden

Autobar has acquired JOBmeal Stockholm AB.

JOBmeal Stockholm was founded in 2001, providing ingredients, machines and service in and around the Stockholm area. During this time, the company has built a strong reputation for both quality and service, and is now one of the largest in the region in it's market sector.

The acquisition significantly strengthens Autobar's Swedish and Nordic operations.

Autobar expands its Spanish business

Autobar Spain has strengthened its position in Madrid with the acquisition of Nortematic Vending S.L. A family owned business, established in 1984, Nortematic SL provides fully operated vending services to customers in the Madrid region.

Nortematic Vending SL has built a strong reputation for quality and service as well as a loyal customer base over the years, and its acquisition significantly enhances and complements Autobar's operations in Madrid.

HAGA AS joins the Autobar Group

Autobar Group has acquired HAGA AS , increasing it's presence in Norway. Established in 1983, HAGA provides a range of office coffee solutions to its customers in the Vestfold and Telemark area, south west of Oslo. HAGA has built a good reputation for quality and service with its customers.

This acquisition strengthens Autobar's operations in the Oslo region.

Autobar increases UK presence

Autobar Group continue to grow in the UK with the acquisition of Lyons Group Ltd, based in the south west of England. Founded in 1986, the Lyons Group have built an impressive client portfolio, which covers a wide range of vending solutions. Chris Lyons, the previous owner, will join the Autobar Group.

Autobar and Chris Lyons will work closely together with online cashless applications both here in the UK and Europe through "Systopia", a business owned by Chris Lyons.
